15 hour - Friday to Sunday Intensive
Friday 14 March to Sunday 16 March (15 hours)

Yin is an introspective practice that through physical forms and formlessness of breath, energy and mind states, deepens our interconnected awareness of body, mind and spirit.

The course will focus on the ‘how to’ of yin, as well as exploring the origins and intentions of the practice. It is designed to give teachers and interested yogis the confidence and competence to safely and intuitively guide and explore yin at a deeper level.

You will be guided by Josephine Tanham, a Senior Teacher with Yoga Australia with over 30-years experience. Josie’s initial Yin Teacher Training was with the founder of Yin Yoga, Paul Grilley. She has since completed Yin Yoga Insight Teacher Training levels I and II with internationally acclaimed teacher Sarah Powers, and further training with renowned Yin teacher, Bernie Clark.

Josie is also a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher with the Jon Kabat-Zin endorsed, Australasian Mindfulness Institute and is currently completing a Diploma in Counselling.
