A special weekend of yoga, singing, and art
The Dwellingup yoga and creative get away is about unwinding, relaxing and getting creative. Each morning will start with a yoga session, with your days spent either participating in a singing or art workshops, come together at days end for meditation and an evening program of conversation and creativity.
Yoga & Meditation
Guided by Josie Tanham every sessions will be different, threading a sense of fun, reflection, curiosity to spark your creative side. All levels of age and experience are catered for. Beginners are more than welcome.

Yani is a warm, talented and renowned vocalist and choir leader who has shared her love of singing at many retreats and workshops at home (in Brisbane), around the world and now in WA. Yani’s workshops are for anyone who loves to sing, whether along with radio, in the shower, or on the stage. She creates a supportive and relaxed environment where the emphasis is about the joy of singing with a repertoire that draws from blues, gospel, pop, African styles and chanting.

Leslee Rowlands is a passionate artist and art educator with over 30 years teaching and art workshop experience. Her favourite thing is to facilitate a supportive, creative environment where participants are inspired to unlock their creative side, awaken their talents and play.
No previous experience is needed to join one of Leslee’s sessions. The focus is on the creative process, rather than the result she will guide you in experimenting with painting techniques, having a go at life drawing.

The village of Dwellingup is 100 km south of Perth, about an hour and 15 minutes drive away. Located in the heart of the Jarrah forest that defines the region. It is a quiet and friendly place with a population of around 500 people. You can see the entire town on an evening stroll. And the uniqueness of this natural environment cannot be overstated.
Evening gatherings will be held in the beautiful Lost Eden Gallery. A lovingly restored building in the heart of the town, while the yoga, singing and art workshops will be held at Forest Lodge and Forest Heritage Centre and surrounding areas in or close to the town centre.
The Jarrah Forest Lodge is a located on the outskirts of the town an easy 10-minute stroll from the centre of town. Accommodation is in simple single and twin share rooms. There is a large share well equipped kitchen with a spacious dining room, outdoor BBQ and gazebo area and shared bathroom facilities.
